"The first conference was a resounding success!"

October 14 is the early registration deadline for CAOWI's Second Annual Conference to be held November 13 through 15, 2011 at the Hilton Hotel in Glendale, California.
The program begins on Sunday Afternoon, November 13, with an optional Pre-Conference Session, Investigations on Trial, which has been approved for 3.5 hours of HRCI general recertification credit for human resource professionals, and 3.75 hours of MCLE credit for attorneys. Following that session is an optional networking dinner, at which participants will enjoy authentic Italian food at Zagat rated Gennaro's Ristorante, reserved exclusively for CAOWI members.
The main conference, Monday November 14 through Tuesday November 15, has been approved for 9.5 hours of HRCI general recertification credit for human resource professionals and 8.5 hours of MCLE credit for attorneys. 1.25 hours of MCLE credit is pending. It begins with continental breakfast, followed by morning CE sessions, the keynote luncheon with speaker Phil Angelides, Chair of the Financial Crisis Inquiry Commission, and afternoon CE sessions. On Monday evening the Networking Reception will take place. The conference concludes on Tuesday with CE sessions followed by an optional box lunch and CAOWI's annual meeting of members.
This will be CAOWI's second annual conference. 175 participants attended the first annual conference, which was held in November 2010 in Oakland. 95% of the participants who submitted evaluation forms for the first annual conference said the conference met their educational objectives. Some of the unsolicited comments CAOWI received about the 2010 conference are included in the box above.
Early registration for the conference, through October 14, is $295 for members and $445 for non-members. The optional pre-conference session is an additional $150, the networking dinner is $55, and the box lunch is $15. Register now for early registration pricing.
